Shaun’s professional journey is defined by resilience, adaptability, and a continuous drive for growth. Beginning with studies in bartending, he ventured abroad to the UK where he spent several years gaining independence and broad life experience. Upon returning to South Africa, Shaun pursued studies in Sales and Marketing, which led him into a career in retail.

Over nearly a decade in the retail industry, Shaun developed a strong foundation in perseverance, customer engagement, and operational excellence. This experience ultimately led him to launch his own business, where he applied his entrepreneurial mindset and hands-on approach. Although the business was later closed due to the impact of COVID-19, the experience proved instrumental in shaping his strategic thinking and resilience.

Following this, Shaun transitioned into CRM management, analytics, and sales and marketing, building on his existing skill set while developing new technical and strategic capabilities. With close to two decades of combined experience across retail, analytics, CRM management, and sales and marketing, Shaun brings a well-rounded and insightful approach to his work.

Now part of the Galetti team, Shaun sees this as a defining step in his career—an opportunity to leverage his extensive experience to enhance systems, optimise data, and contribute meaningfully to the company’s continued success, while continuing his own professional development.
