In the dynamic world of independent contract catering and events, About Thyme Catering (Pty) Ltd stands out as a beacon of passion and excellence. It is no surprise that the growth of their business has resulted in a need for larger premises to accommodate their clientele.
Kathleen embarked on a mission to find a space that would meet the unique requirements of a “Dark Kitchen” operation. This endeavor proved challenging, with numerous viewings and brokers leading to no success. Although the perfect space initially seemed out of budget, Reyaan Abarder, commercial real estate broker at Galetti, was able to secure About Thyme Catering’s new culinary home.
The new premises, a 600 sqm industrial space at 11 Auckland Street, Paarden Eiland, will serve as the ideal setting for About Thyme’s culinary endeavors. The deal, valued at R 1,890,000.00, encompasses a 5-year lease, with occupation set for 1 November 2023.
This successful venture not only marks a significant milestone for About Thyme Catering but is also a testament to Galetti’s ability to understand client needs, navigate the market intricacies, and deliver results.
